4-H Shooting Sports | Hawkins County

4-H Shooting Sports teams learn the safety, civics, and teamwork of being a responsible marksman. Information is available in October each year. The season typically runs November- May with weekly meetings and May-November with pop up club meets for fun. 4-H Shooting Sports teams have specific start date cut-offs. 22 Rifle- pending grant funding

4th-12th grade youth – a parent/guardian must chaperone at every practice

Complete a 4-H Enrollment Form and 4-H 600A Form at the UT-TSU Extension Office during the sign up window. These group do have registration fees.

Shooting Sports Clubs learn the discipline of the specific shooting sport, laws and citizenship related to firearms, and safety! We hold weekly practices to become a better marksman and have varied competitions and fun gatherings throughout the season.
